We specialize in specific luxury houses instead of accepting anything and everything, because our in-house authentication experts have deep knowledge of these brands and nowhere near the same depth on others. We are not like consignments that accept every and any brand, because we do not specialize in every brand, and pretending otherwise would not serve sellers.

Other consignments accept every brand, then rely on online sources and photo authenticators, who cannot feel, smell or see a bag in person. Which brands sell fastest with your clientele?
Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, Dior and Saint Laurent sell extremely well with us, and we have built a clientele of affluent women who purchase a lot of Hermès and Chanel bags. Because that audience came for specific luxury brands, it is not the right market for pre-owned Coach or Michael Kors, and it is not a clothing audience either.
How do you choose the right consignment?
Know the consignment before you commit by looking at what kind of inventory they carry and what sells out quickly. If a shop mostly sells inexpensive vintage handbags in poor condition, its audience is thrift shoppers, and your chances of selling a brand new Birkin for $25,000 there would be low. It is the same logic as taking a Lamborghini to a used Honda dealership and expecting a premium price.
