Job Summary: As a Business Development Manager at Luxe Du Jour, you will be instrumental in driving our direct-to-consumer growth, focusing on acquiring new clients and consignors while boosting app downloads. This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to tapping into the luxury fashion market, leveraging your industry experience and client book to meet ambitious targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to attract new DTC clients to reach the monthly sales target
  • Consignor Recruitment: Find and Engage with potential new consignors to secure the inventory monthly goal, utilizing your deep understanding of the luxury resale market.
  • Market Penetration: Use your existing network and market knowledge to identify and pursue untapped opportunities within the designer fashion industry.
  • App Growth: Spearhead initiatives to increase app downloads each month, optimizing engagement and retention strategies.
  • Team Leadership: After demonstrating success in your role, you will have the opportunity to build out and manage your own acquisition team, leading them to meet and exceed their goals.
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly track and report on progress against goals, providing insights and action plans to continuously improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business development, preferably within the luxury fashion or related industries.
  • Strong existing client book and a deep network within the designer fashion industry.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a robust analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable with high-paced environments and monthly targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
